Our primary concern is that you keep safe by staying updated on best practices by visiting COVID19.ca.gov, as well as CDC.gov to monitor the whole country.
Our second concern is to keep you updated on the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on the real estate market.
According to MLS’s, marketplace for Santa Clara County’s SFH residential real estate, here’s what’s happened in the overall market for Single Family Homes over the last couple of weeks.
Again, please note that I have used the most recent search results to keep things as accurate as possible, so there may be a slight update from last week’s stats.
From March 30th through April 5th there were
182 New Listings
79 Listings Went Under Contract
147 Listings Sold
And….
From April 6th through April 12th there were
159 New Listings (that’s 13% decrease from the previous week)
102 Listings Under Contract (29% increase from the previous week)
134 Listings Sold (9% decrease from the previous week)
If you’re interested in knowing more specific stats for your City or Neighborhood, please contact me by email, text or give me a call and I’ll be happy to get that information to you.
I’m also adding another stat for us to track as we move forward:
As of today, April 14th, we have a total of
878 Single Family Homes available in all of Santa Clara County and Days on Market are not accumulating.
There are currently 372 VACANT Homes.
These are homes that CAN BE VIEWED with social distancing and only 2 people (with 1 agent) under the mandate stating that real estate is considered Essential Business.
Again, our #1 priority is to be a resource for up to date real information on how to protect yourself and your family. Please do so by staying up to date and visiting COVID19.ca.gov, as well as CDC.gov to monitor the whole country.
